Ontario’s health minister says Ornge has turned a corner after a very difficult year.
Deb Matthews says new leadership at the province’s embattled air ambulance service is helping to strengthen the service.
Ontario chief coroner Doctor Andrew McCallum has been appointed Ornge’s new president and C-E-O.
He’ll take over January 21st from interim leader Ron McKerlie, who’s been in charge since early this year.
Ornge is trying to rebuild after a year of scandals, including a criminal probe of financial irregularities, reports of exorbitant salaries and allegations of kickbacks and nepotism.
