PLAY ME,I’M YOURS LAUNCHES IN STRATFORD

People in  the GTA  have  been randomly playing 41 pianos in some interesting locations for the past few weeks.

Now the “Play Me, I’m Yours” project launches in Stratford with  eight pianos, painted by local artists, placed in public spaces downtown to be enjoyed  from August 1st to 19th.

One additional piano from Trinidad & Tobago will be included from the original Toronto launch of 41  pianos in recognition of the  TO2015   Pan/Parapan American Games.

the piano project was created by Luke Jerram in the U-K.  It has now reached over five million people worldwide.

Jerram presented the North American premiere of The Sky Orchestra at Stratford Summer Music 2007 as the city awoke to recorded music and readings from A Midsummer Night’s Dream  from a flotilla of hot air balloons floating over the city.
