Penguin ebooks libraries

This is good news for Zoomers .. who love reading.

In the U-S … Publisher Penguin Group  is sending two New York City public library systems  e books as part of a one-year pilot program.

Penguin says if the program is successful, it could offer e-books to libraries nationwide.

Up to now, Penguin had been one of four major publishers that didn’t make ebooks available to libraries.

A spokesman for the Toronto Public Library tells our newsroom that Penguin’s pilot program  in the U.S.,  likely means … Zoomer’s using public libraries here will have access to titles from Penguin not currently  available.
