Ontario Place could come back to life as a year-round park.
A provincially appointed panel made the recommendation and several others as part of an ongoing effort to revitalize the lakeside park.
The panel is led by former Ontario Progressive Conservative leader John Tory.
The province closed most of Ontario Place this year to help trim a 15-billion-dollar deficit. But it rejected the idea of building a casino on the 39-hectare waterfront site.
