Health Minister, Deb Matthews says the ousted C-E-O of Ontario’s troubled air ambulance service refused to disclose his 1.4-million-dollar salary.
Matthews, who calls Chris Mazza’s pay package “outrageous” says other senior managers voluntarily complied with the salary disclosure but not Ornge head Mazza.
The health minister, testifying before a legislative committee today, says Mazza’s explanations to the committee have been “pure nonsense.”
When Mazza appeared before the committee almost two weeks ago he said the Health Ministry knew what he was doing at Ornge and never told him he was off course.
