HARVARD PUTS BOOK ON DNA

Harvard scientists  have figured out how to store “digital data” on D-N-A.

They’ve encoded a 53-thousand word book by first turning it into zero’s and one’s. Then the  digitized binary code is transfered onto DNA  molecules.

The entire book  fits on a pinpoint of D-N-A that weighs about one-millionth of the weight of a grain of sand.

The harvard team says just four grams of D-N-A could hold all the information in the world.
