FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT ARCHIVES GOING TO NEW YORK

One of the world’s most important architectural archives is moving to New York.

The collection contains more than 23,000 of Frank Lloyd Wright’s  drawings.

There are also  44,000 photos, large-scale models and manuscripts being moved from Wisconsin and Arizona to New York City.

They’ve been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art and Columbia University.

Frank Lloyd Wright died in 1959.

He  designed more than 1,100 architectural works, including  houses,  schools, bridges and museums.

Over 400 of his completed structures are still standing.

He  also wrote 20 books, and designed everything from furniture to dinnerware.
