Soupstock 2012

This year’s Soupstock was held this past weekend at Woodbine Park in Toronto. Soupstock is a one-day celebration that features soup creations by over 200 talented Canadian chefs.

Hosted by the Canadian Chefs’ Congress and the David Suzuki Foundation, Soupstock aims to raise funds to support community action against the Mega-Quarry and for other food-related issues.

Our very own Dale Goldhawk was in attendance and got a few shots from this successful event:

Dale & George Stroumboulopoulos ready for more soup

Dale & Dave Vander Zaag, Melancthon farmer back stage

Chef Jamie Kennedy’s steaming cauldron of soup

Mary Feely & Susur Lee, admiring his soup and soaking in the sun

Dale & Danny Beaton by the Canadian Chefs’ Congress bus – The Northern Light

Hobo Wally on Soupstock main stage

Chef Michael Stadtländer, Eigensinn Farm & the Canadian Chefs’ Congress, with Chef Richard Garcia, Chefs Collaborative, Boston

Dale Goldhawk, Mary Feely and 40, 000 of our closest friends protesting the Mega – Quarry … while sipping soup!
